Supplier fare rules, hotel policies and service-specific conditions shown during booking form part of the transaction. These Terms govern the user's relationship with Fauji Yatra and prevail if a service condition conflicts with them, except for vendor-specific conditions that expressly apply to a marketplace product under the additional terms below.
User deal and acceptance of terms
These Terms and Conditions form an agreement between the user and Fauji Yatra concerning the use of services provided through the website, mobile technology, call centre, booking offices and other authorised channels.
Fauji Yatra is a brand of M/s Jammu Kashmir Tour and Travels, with its head office at Shop No. 20, Mini Market, near Rani Plaza, Satwari Cantt., Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir 180003. The business facilitates travel-related information, pricing, availability and reservations offered by airlines, hotels, transport providers and other third-party suppliers.
You must be at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering a binding agreement and not prohibited by applicable law from using the service. When booking for another traveller, you confirm that you are authorised to provide their details and accept the applicable conditions on their behalf.
Using a service constitutes acceptance of these terms and the relevant supplier rules. If you do not agree, do not use or purchase that service. A contract to provide a booking is not complete until the required payment is successfully received and the reservation is accepted and confirmed.
Fauji Yatra may decline a booking request at its discretion, including where it cannot be confirmed, payment is incomplete, information cannot be verified, a supplier rejects the request, or the transaction cannot lawfully or safely be completed.
Changes to terms and privacy
Fauji Yatra may update these terms, service conditions, notices and charges from time to time. Updates are published on this page, and continued use after publication constitutes acceptance subject to applicable law. Users should review the current page before making a booking.
Use of the website and services is also subject to the Privacy Policy. By submitting information, the user acknowledges the collection and use described in that policy.
Limited and personal use
The consumer services and website content are intended for legitimate personal travel and booking use. Unless a separate written B2B agreement applies, users must not sell, resell, commercially exploit or make unauthorised wholesale use of any portion of the service.
Users must not reverse engineer, modify, copy, distribute, transmit, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell website software, content, products or services except where expressly permitted by law or written authorisation. Limited reference to content must clearly identify Fauji Yatra as the source.
Supplier services, warranties and liability
Fauji Yatra acts as a booking facilitator for services delivered by third-party suppliers. Airlines, hotels, transport operators and other suppliers control their schedules, availability, standards, fare rules, changes, cancellations and delivery. Their contract of carriage, house rules and service conditions also bind the user.
- Users should verify destination, schedule, traveller, fare, visa, health and safety information before relying on it or travelling.
- Descriptions and availability can change when a supplier updates its information. Fauji Yatra cannot prevent supplier delays, deficiencies, cancellations or policy changes.
- Cancellation refunds are subject to supplier rules and receipt of the eligible amount from the supplier. Applicable penalties, convenience fees or other non-refundable charges may be deducted.
- Fauji Yatra does not warrant that travel to a destination is risk-free and is not responsible for loss resulting solely from destination conditions or a supplier's performance.
- Access may be unavailable during maintenance, technical failure or events outside reasonable control.
To the extent permitted by law, Fauji Yatra disclaims implied warranties concerning third-party services and will not be liable for direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of use, data or profit arising from use or inability to use the website or supplier service.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, the maximum aggregate liability connected with a service will not exceed the amount received by Fauji Yatra for that service after deducting applicable cancellation, refund or supplier charges.
Lawful use, external links and communications
Users must not use the website for an unlawful purpose, attempt to obtain material through an unauthorised method, damage or overburden the service, interfere with another user's access, introduce malicious code or violate the rights of another person.
Links to external websites are provided for convenience. Fauji Yatra does not control or endorse every linked site and is not responsible for its content, availability, privacy practice or representations. Users should independently verify information before transacting with a third party.
Where a communication feature is available, users must not post or send abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory, infringing, deceptive or unlawful material; upload malware or corrupted files; conduct unauthorised advertising or schemes; impersonate another person; remove source notices; or violate applicable guidelines and law.
Fauji Yatra may preserve or disclose information when required by law and may refuse, edit or remove material, or restrict access to a communication feature, where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users or third parties.
Fees, payments and user accounts
Users are responsible for the fare or price, service fee, tax, duty, levy and other amount displayed before payment, as well as their own internet, device and banking costs. Fees and supported payment methods may change with the service.
Registration may be optional for some services. A registered user must provide true, accurate, current and complete information; keep it updated; protect the password and account; use only authorised payment instruments; and notify Fauji Yatra promptly about suspected unauthorised use.
The account holder is responsible for activity performed with their credentials unless prohibited by law. Fauji Yatra is not responsible for loss caused by sharing a password, card credential, PIN or one-time password, or by failure to secure and sign out of an account.
Necessary registration or traveller data may be disclosed to suppliers and service providers to complete the requested service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Breach, proprietary rights and indemnity
If a user breaches these terms, provides unverifiable or inaccurate information, infringes third-party rights, creates legal or security risk, or fails to pay an amount due, Fauji Yatra may warn the user, limit activity, suspend or terminate access, recover amounts owed and take lawful action.
Website text, software, photographs, graphics, video, trademarks and other material may be protected by intellectual-property law. Users may not upload or distribute third-party protected content without permission and must preserve all required copyright or proprietary notices.
Nothing in these terms creates a partnership between the user and Fauji Yatra. A user authorising us to retrieve requested information from a designated supplier appoints us only for that limited purpose.
The user agrees, to the extent permitted by law, to indemnify and hold Fauji Yatra harmless against losses, claims, damages, costs and reasonable legal expenses caused by the user's breach, unlawful conduct or failure to perform an obligation under these terms.
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited to the affected portion and the remaining provisions will continue in force. Headings are provided only for convenient navigation; singular and plural expressions include each other where the context permits.
Termination, notices and governing law
Either the user or Fauji Yatra may terminate this agreement or an affected service, with or without cause, effective immediately. Fauji Yatra may also terminate or restrict website access in its sole discretion without prior notice, including for breach, a government or enforcement request, a user request, non-payment, security risk or another lawful reason.
After termination, the right to use the affected service ends and unfinished tasks or stored data may not remain available. A user who objects to these terms should stop using the service and notify Fauji Yatra.
Notices must be in writing and may be delivered personally, by commercial messenger or courier, by registered or certified mail with return receipt requested, or by email or facsimile with complete-transmission acknowledgement. A user notice may be sent to the communication or email address supplied in the account or booking. Unless the sender learns that an email address is invalid, a notice is treated as served 48 hours after it is sent, dispatched or displayed, as applicable; users must keep contact information current.
The general user agreement is governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Gurgaon, Haryana, have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising under it. A product expressly identified during booking or in its confirmation as offered and serviced by a third-party marketplace vendor is instead subject to the marketplace jurisdiction clause below.
Products not serviced directly by Fauji Yatra
These additional conditions apply only when the booking display or confirmation expressly identifies a travel package or related product as offered and serviced by a third-party marketplace vendor rather than directly by Fauji Yatra.
Marketplace business and vendors
The vendor is responsible to the user for the service sold or for redemption of a voucher. Fauji Yatra facilitates communication and routes successfully received payments; it does not guarantee a vendor payment where the corresponding customer payment has not been received.
Marketplace features, procedures and service availability may be added, modified, suspended or discontinued. Vendor-specific offer terms take precedence for that vendor's service when they conflict with the general marketplace description.
Charges and pricing
Fauji Yatra does not charge a separate fee for browsing or booking services on the marketplace, and users can create a free marketplace account. The displayed vendor price, applicable taxes and charges imposed independently by a bank or payment provider may still apply. Fauji Yatra aims to present competitive and accurate prices but does not guarantee the lowest price in every location.
If a service is listed with an incorrect price or information, the user may be contacted for instructions or the request may be cancelled. If a processed payment relates to a booking that cannot be accepted, the eligible amount will be returned to the original payment source according to the applicable process.
Payment and transaction confirmation
Cards, net banking and other displayed methods may be processed by a third-party payment gateway. The user's bank may impose charges outside Fauji Yatra's control.
Do not rely on a transaction until a booking confirmation is received. If an expected email is not received, check spam or junk folders and contact support. The total payable price is shown before payment; a rejected vendor request is not a confirmed booking.
Amendment, cancellation and refunds
All amendments and cancellations follow the vendor policy and must be routed through the booking process made available by Fauji Yatra. If a vendor cancels a confirmed booking, Fauji Yatra will refund the total price paid for that booking within a commercially reasonable time or communicate available alternatives. A user choosing a higher-priced alternative must pay the difference.
For a no-show or unutilised booking, a valid refund request under the vendor policy must be made within 90 days from the travel or check-in date. Requests made after that period may be treated as forfeited. Subject to receiving the corresponding refund from the concerned vendor, the refund will be processed within approximately 15–20 working days from the cancellation request; final bank credit time can vary by payment method.
If the user cannot be contacted using the supplied details and a reservation cannot be completed, the request may be cancelled without liability for indirect costs incurred by the user.
Promotion codes
A promotion code is valid only for the service, dates, user and conditions stated with the offer. Fauji Yatra may add, alter, replace or withdraw an offer or programme in accordance with its published conditions and applicable law.
User responsibility and vendor disputes
The contract for delivery of a marketplace service is between the vendor and user. A vendor marked verified has completed the stated verification process; that description is not a guarantee of identity, credibility or performance. Users should exercise reasonable care before purchasing.
Complaints may be forwarded to the relevant vendor for explanation. The vendor remains responsible for a deficient or unavailable service and any vendor-funded refund. Users must not submit frivolous or baseless complaints.
Suspension, disclaimer and liability
The limited-use, intellectual-property, unlawful-use, suspension, indemnity and liability provisions of the general agreement also apply to marketplace use. Fauji Yatra does not control or endorse every third-party vendor and does not accept responsibility for a vendor's warranty, maintenance or performance beyond obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The marketplace terms are governed by the laws of India. Only claims arising from a transaction expressly identified as a third-party marketplace product are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir (UT).
